The Carr and Day and Martin Killitch Sweet Itch Lotion 500ml is licensed and proven to prevent and treat Sweet Itch in Horses and Ponies. Killitch is proven to prevent sweet itch and contains benzyl benzoate in a soothing lotion formula. Carr and Day and Martin has been specifically designed for Horses with Sweet Itch and if used as a preventative treatment in early spring, before Sweet Itch symptoms become visible, the condition may not take hold. Application: Apply to affected areas by rubbing in with fingers or a soft cloth as soon as the Sweet Itch has been diagnosed or for the remaining part of the Sweet Itch season. Initial application should be twice every day and then reduced to once a day and then 3-4 times a week as the irritation lessens.
